The power of knowledge transpires all cultures, countries and languages. That is the theme Matthew wanted to carry throughout this sculpture. The sculpture is made up of stainless steel and laser cut, colorful pages of acrylic. Some of the pages contain the word knowledge written in English, Spanish, Mandarin, German and Arabic. While other pages have symbols representing different subjects such as Science and Mathematics, Fine Arts, Literature, and History. Matthew’s hope for this piece is to become a landmark for the library for years to come.
