Te Ata was a traditional Native America storyteller, performing for President Franklin Roosevelt and the king and queen of Great Britain in the 1930’s. Te Ata shared her knowledge of Native American ceremonies and rituals in her storytelling. Her tales were filled with great affection for old-fashioned traditions, for Native Americans, and for the beauty of nature.
